Located on Adelaide’s premier boulevard, 115 King William Street presented a series of complex architectural and technical challenges. The narrow yet deep site demanded innovative structural solutions to support a tall, slender form, while compact floor plates required meticulous planning to optimise yield and allow flexible tenancy configurations. At street level, new pedestrian links activate surrounding laneways and retail frontages, contributing to a vibrant public realm. Delivered under previous planning policies, the project exceeded prescribed limits through demonstrated design excellence.

 

DASH worked closely with the contractor to adapt the design to the constraints of a tight inner-city site, resulting in a bold and elegant new landmark that redefines what is achievable on narrow urban parcels. DASH’s interior design team subsequently delivered high-performance fitouts for multiple levels, including serviced offices that balance efficient layouts with generous, open collaboration spaces. 115 King William Street exemplifies DASH’s multidisciplinary expertise and commitment to design quality at every scale.
